I work in the
Mammal
Department at the American
Museum of Natural History in New York City. My job title is
Curatorial Associate.
It is my responsibility to care for the AMNH mammal collection which is the
third largest mammal collection in the world, containing approximately 275,000
mammal specimens representing 100% of the mammalian orders and 96% of all
mammalian families. I supervise a staff of
7 working
in the collections. Together, we manage all aspects of the collections
ranging from cataloging to pest management and loans of
specimens to other institutions. For more information about the

Science Research Lab, a part of the Museum of Texas Tech
